Loving who you are on the way to who you will be.

One of the hardest things in life is learning to love who you are. Learning to be comfortable in your own skin. Learning to accept that while we may not be at our best, we can be on our way there. Everyday we choose whether we are headed to our best life or a waste of a life. And your best life has nothing to do with money or social status, skin color, orientation or really anything remotely like that. Your best life is you choosing to be the best version of yourself that you can be. It means finding the things you can do, give where you can, volunteer where you can, work in the things you are good at (even if it's no where near the level you want to be). And as you do these "baby steps" an amazing things starts to happen. Things begin to come to you, unexpected things, good things, things that will amaze you! I'm not saying it's easy because I know that it's not. It's hard to push forward and help others when you are being bullied, when you can't pay your own stuff, when you are so tired you can barely function or when you are so sick it takes everything you have to get out of bed. But as hard as it is I promise it's worth it. We choose whether or not we are happy, even in the worst of times. So instead of focusing on how bad things might be, lets focus on how the good stuff is already on the way. And lets give someone else the lift up in life we wish someone would have given us. #Bethechange #Belove
